Although the facts of weak institutional structure, inefficiency, poor professional standards, low productivity, a culture waste, over-bloated staff structure etc., have been identified as problems civil service in Nigeria, only scant attention has paid to debilitating effects corruption. Adopting qualitative approach, utilized Market-Centred perspective an analytical guide and considered not just epicentre Nigeria but also bane nation’s processes. Besides plugging corruption loopholes institution more robust reward system for corrupt-free officials, recommended stringent measures restrain systemic by making it high-risk activity where perpetrators must be apprehended, severely punished dispossessed corruptly earned monies property.
